Andy Declerck & Kari Antila Group has stopped the creative break. Band is alive and well. There are new concerts and alot of plans for new compositions. Band just finished the 2 weeks Finland Tournee. Tournee was very succesful, and both the audience and musicians enjoyed alot of the experience. Andy Declerck & Kari Antila Group will take now a creative holiday after intensive two year working period. The Holiday shall last until sebtember 2008. All the new gigs will be booked again after sebtember 2008.

ADKA Groups success in Jazzlabseries Tournee has gained a lot of attention in Belgium. January and February 2008 ADKA Group will promote their CD in different FNAC music stores in Belgium.
There will be live performances included in promotion tournee. ADKA Group will be also on Tournee in Finland 10.03-24.03 2008. Check  detailed information from the “Concerts” section.
Some of these upcoming gigs will represent young and talented bass virtuoso Janos Bruneel replacing Wim Ramon temporarily. You can check  the bio of Janos for example in following links: www.asguests.com/about/janos.

"1000 Miles Away" has got a nice response and Belgian radiochannel RTBF reviewed it shortly : "The nice spring "jazz-jazz" surprise in Belgium is the release of the first album by saxophonist Andy Declerck and guitarist Kari Antila, sharing a quartet with bassist Wim Ramon and drummer Toon Van Dionant. The latter could very well be the Jan De Haas of his generation. Mainstream modern jazz is the topic here, with well rounded-out compositions, spiced with to the point soli. The New CD gets a presentation thursday 24.05.07 in Belgium radio channel Klara,
23 o`clock Belgian time. You can listen the program from their website www.klara.be
( choose AUDIO link, and then LIVE AUDIO ) The program is hosted by Marc Van den Hoof. Also the French radio in Belgium (www.rtbf.be) has played the new CD quite a lot during the last month.

The Group is planning to make a North Europe tour in march 2008. Group will perform at least in Turku Jazz Festival, Finland (www.turkujazz.fi) during weekend 14.-16.3.2008. The tour will also include other performances in Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and possibly Estonia and Poland. Other venues are still TBA.
